Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 links Italian Sausage
  • fresh basil for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Place the foil on the baking sheet and wrap it around the edges.
  • Space your Italian Sausages about an inch apart so that heat can circulate around them. Do NOT poke holes in the sausages or all the juices will leak out.
    2 links Italian Sausage
  • Place the pan in the center of the oven and bake the sausages for 30-35 minutes, flipping the sausages over halfway through baking, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  • Let the sausages rest & cool for 3 - 5 minutes, then slice them up and enjoy!

Notes

Use as many sausage links as you need - two links will make two servings so cook as many as you need to feed your crew!

Recipe Tips

  • Do NOT poke holes in the sausages - the casing keeps the juices inside and poking holes will make it all leak out.
  • Wrap your baking sheet with foil so you don't have to do any dishes! You can also use a Silpat or reusable baking sheet, but you will have to wash grease off of it.
  • Cook extra sausages so that you can have leftovers for lunch the next day!
