Dressing
- 1 ½ tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
- ⅛ teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons minced onion
Salad
- 4 oz. spinach dried and torn in to bite size pieces
- 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
- ¼ cup slivered or sliced almonds
In a medium bowl, whisk together the sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, paprika and minced onion to make the dressing.

Cover and chill for one hour.
In a serving bowl, combine the spinach, strawberries, and almonds. Pour the dressing over the salad when serving and toss gently.

Recipe Tips:
Make sure the strawberries are fully dry before adding them to the salad so there is not any excess moisture added to the salad.
Add the salad dressing right before serving the salad to prevent the salad from becoming soggy.
Add cooked chicken to make a complete meal!
