What I love to add to my salad is this Balsamic Vinaigrette. It uses only four ingredients…yes four. Kind of makes you wonder…so I decided to try making my own recently. It was so easy to make…so easy that I was surprised. I had planned on making it one day but told my husband I didn’t feel like making it because I was tired and didn’t feel like making it. So I made it the next day and after seeing how quick and easy it is to make it, I had to laugh at myself for saying I was too tired to make it! :o) Sometimes you just don’t know until you try…
Making this salad dressing just takes a few quick steps. Whisk together the olive oil and balsamic dressing until it is well blended. Add in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Whisk again until it well blended. And there it is. Homemade, delicious balsamic dressing for you salad.

- 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Pinch of Italian seasoning
- Whisk together the olive oil and balsamic vinegar until well blended.
- Add in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Whisk together until mixed in.
- Store any remaining dressing in the refrigerator.
Recipe makes 1/2 cup dressing
