When we get home, you can’t beat the fresh apples, fresh apple cider, and the smell of cinnamon and brown sugar cooking! I love to get the whole family involved peeling and slicing apples to make apple butter, applesauce, and a Dutch apple pie topped with ice cream.
We also love to make thinly sliced apple chips to have for school snacks – and who doesn’t love to snack on juicy apples? We love apple slices with almond butter, peanut butter, homemade Greek yogurt, and homemade caramel.
