This Cheap & Easy Cheesy Tortellini is made in one dish and uses only 5 ingredients! The oven does all the work so you can relax while it cooks and catch up on your favorite Netflix shows. We love this recipe because:

  • It is so easy – just mix, sprinkle cheese, and bake.
  • It is so cheap – each serving is around $1.
  • It is so yummy – you’ll be fighting over the leftovers!

This Recipe Got Me Through College

Back when I didn’t make any money and didn’t know how to cook, this recipe was in our weekly rotation. My roommates loved it and it made enough food for all of us! Everyone was always surprised how good it was because of how cheap and easy it was to make.

Only 4 Ingredients + Veggies if You Want

Frozen tortellini, marinara sauce, alfredo sauce, and mozzarella cheese. You can also use refrigerated fresh tortellini – just don’t cook it as long. (Mix in spinach or broccoli if desired!)

So Easy to Make!

All you need to do is:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • In a 13×9 baking dish, mix the tortellini with the red sauce, then drizzle the alfredo sauce over the top.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  • Remove the foil and bake for 15 more minutes. Cool before serving.

How to Store: Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-5 days.
How to Freeze: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Reheating in the Microwave: Reheat on low power in 1 or 2-minute increments, until heated all the way through.
Reheating in the Oven: Reheat in a baking dish in the oven, covered with foil, at 350ºF until heated all the way through – 15-20 minutes.

Serve with a Salad
