This taco seasoning can be made in five minutes using ingredients you might already have in your pantry!
I have always liked tacos. But for some reason when I would use the store bought taco seasoning mix, there was something I just did not like about the seasoning. So, I stopped making them…
Until the local taco truck got me hooked again! They had such a great flavor and used fresh cilantro…yum! I decided to try making tacos with a homemade taco seasoning instead. And the results were amazing! Now we have been making tacos once a month!
This recipe is easy to prepare. Just combine all the ingredients together in a small bowl. Mix it up well. And…you’re done.
Why make your own taco seasoning?
- cut down on sodium

This recipe makes about 1/4 cup seasoning. If you are using this for tacos, you will use 2 teaspoons per one pound of ground beef. I use this amount for my family of four.
